2.5"-3" 2000 Honda Accord Exhaust System?

Why are aftermarket ehaust systems 4"! I dont want a big dumb exhaust tip! Is there any exhaust mufflers that are 2.5"-3"? Please let me know! I cant do that 4" too big! I;d like it to come with a silencer... Help please
