Bluetooth static when connected to ps3?

My motorola h350 bluetooth was working fine, but just today its been making a static noise whenever I try to talk. When I connected it to my ps3, I checked the audio settings and spoke into the bluetooth. What came out was just static. Some things Ive done that might have done to make it do this is that I either left too long to charge or I've unplugged and plugged it back in and left it on top of the ps3. Can anyone tell me what is wrong, what caused it, and whati can do to fix It? Thanks(:
